PLAYSETS
The Waterfall
The above picture shows the two versions of the waterfall that were
sold in the early 1980s. The Waterfall on the left is the UK version, with
the green base. This is the version with which Cascade was sold in 1986,
however before 1986 Sprinkles was sold with the green based waterfall
in the UK. (Scan of box coming soon)
The waterfall on the right is the version sold in the USA with the
white *cloud* base. It was only ever issued with Sprinkles. Both waterfall
sets came with the same accessories. (as seen below in the image from the
1986 UK insert)
Butterscotch's Gymkhana
As can be seen above on the 1986 insert picture and in the scan of
the box, Butterscotch was sold in the United Kingdom with a selection of
jumping accessories, labelled her *gymkhana*. Basically being in the style
of Lemon Drop's Show Stable accessories, the gymkhana bits and pieces were
coloured red and yellow, with a pink saddle, bridle and reins.
Other than these two playsets there were reissues of the Show Stable and also new buildings such as the Kitchen and the Schoolhouse in later years.
There were also various ponies issued with playsets. One in particular
was Tutti Frutti and her birthday set. Note that in the UK she came with
six of everything.

And of course, there was Paradise Estate.......
A building which caused much controversy as to whether or not a Non
So Soft version of Paradise was actually issued with it or not. The advert
above, taken from My Little Pony comic number 59 shows a number of Non
So Soft ponies but there is no sign of a Paradise (click on image to view
full size)
Good Weather and her Holiday Playset.
Note that there is a pink bucket, a towel and a pink glass missing
from the picture.
