ITALIAN
PONIES
Year Two Ponies
Made In Italy
n.b. Applejack and Bow Tie have been
listed under year 3 ponies for reasons of space.
This Italian version
of Medley is another of the more beautiful Italian ponies in existance.
Her basic colours are the same as the Hong Kong issue, although her body
seems somewhat more vibrant in colour to her counterpart in the US. Her
symbol is not glittered, and her eyes are blue.
This is
Italian Firefly...I hope to do a more clear scan for you soon :) She bears
a close resemblance to the Hong Kong version, but there are still a number
of differences. Her body colour is a far paler pink, more the same colour
as Parasol. Her symbol is painted (not even metallic) rather than glittered,
and her hair shows signs of having been curly originally. Her eyes are
blue.
This
is another example of a beautiful Italian pony. Her basic features are
the same as the Hong Kong version, but her symbol is metallic paint. Her
eyes are blue and her mane and tail the same colour as her Hong Kong counterpart,
only with less shape to them.
Italian Sunbeam
This version of Sunbeam is similar to the Hong Kong one but her symbol
is smaller and is painted in metallic goldish paint, and her hair is without
much shape. Her symbol is also rather off centre :)
This version
of Sunbeam is very different to the original in as much as she has the
hair colours of a year 2 Rainbow pony, and also her symbol is smaller and
painted in metallic paint. Her hair is rough to the touch.
***IF ANYONE HAS THIS ITALIAN PONY FOR TRADE PLEASE EMAIL
ME :)***
Thanks to Lady Moondancer for the use of this image ;)
This is a
very unusual version of Twilight...and a reeeally pretty one too :) She
is a white unicorn, with aqua-blue coloured mane and tail, and a white
streak in her mane. Her symbol is metallic painted and is aqua, rather
than purple. It was available at least for a while with the Dream Castle
playset in Switzerland.
Thanks to Lisa for this picture :)
This
is what we all know and love as Twilight, but there are still a few differences.
Her symbol is of course metallic and her eyes blue. She also seems a pinker
colour, too
Thanks to Morning Glory for this image

Italian
Seashell does not have the same blaze on the nose as the Hong Kong versions,
instead she has freckles on her cheeks, and her symbol is more green and
the shells are larger. Her body is a brighter purple.
Like Italian
Seashell, Bubbles has freckles on her cheek. Her hair is straighter and
is threaded further down her forehead. Her symbol is bright and clear.
